Baguio City National High School (BCNHS) encourages students to study well, contribute to the peace and order of the school and the community, to respect the rights of others , to engage in civil affairs and to exert efforts towards the general welfare, and many more. In section 13, Article II of the 1987 Constitution, the state recognizes the vital role of the youth and nation-building and shall promote and protect their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social well being. It shall inculcate in the youth patriotism and nationalism, and encourage their involvement in public civil affairs.

EVERY STUDENT SHALL:

1. Exert utmost effort to develop his potentialities for service, particularly by undergoing education suited to his abilities, in order that he may become an asset to his family and to society.

2. Uphold the academic integrity of the school, endeavor to achieve academic excellence and to abide by the rules and regulations governing his academic responsibilities and moral integrity.

3. Promote and maintain the peace and tranquility of the school by observing the rules and discipline, and by exerting efforts to attain harmonious relationships with fellow students, the teaching and academic staff and other school personnel.

4. Participate actively in civic affairs and in the promotion of the social, economic and cultural development of his community and in the attainment of a just, compassionate and orderly society.

5. Exercise his rights and responsibilities in the knowledge that he is answerable for any infringement or violation of the public welfare and of the rights of others.

6. Attend classes regularly and punctually from the first day to the last day of classes.

7. Wear the prescribed uniform from Monday to Friday.

8. Pin his school identification card (ID) from Monday to Friday at all times upon entering the gate of the school campus.
