PAMMADAYAW: BCNHS Pays Tribute To 100 Years Of Baguio

Baguio City National High School pays homage to a century’s worth of memories through Pammadayaw, a program conducted by the school to celebrate the Baguio Centennial. The program spans from August 29 until September 18. It is comprised of an exhibit and a cultural presentation.

The objective of the exhibit located at the library is to showcase the role of City High in the history of Baguio through photographs. These are the contributions of our school to the development of Baguio City namely academic and athletic achievements, influential alumni, and faculty recognitions. It presents how the school’s memories are also memories of this city.

The cultural presentation is piloted by the Araling Panlipunan (AP) department headed by Mr. David Mendoza and Mrs. Tecla Padsoyan in partnership with the Special Program for the Arts (SPA) headed by Mrs. Marilyn Apiit. The object of the cultural presentation is to showcase Filipino and Cordilleran dances and songs indicating our rich culture.
