With the theme: Those Were the Days, the Special Science Program Batch 2009 hosted a Graduation Party, Tribute to Teachers and Tribute to Parents in one affair held at the Golden Pine Hotel last March 21, 2009.

Highlights of the affair included the Search for Groove King, Queen, Prince, and Princess, Best Music Video contest, video presentation of students acknowledging their past and present teachers, giving of tokens of appreciation to teachers and parents, and multimedia presentation of compiled batch pictures and videos.

The winners of the Search for Groove King and Queen were Mr. Sosimo Leal and Mrs. Jayrerose Guevara, respectively while the winners of the Groove Prince and Princess were Ralph Paulo Morales and Andrea Marie Allisandra Laureano, respectively. The winners were chosen based on their retro attire (50s, 60s, or 70s). The best music video was awarded to Ralph Morales for directing Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang starred by Emer Kenneth Trajano, Angeli Abegail Naranja, and Kaiziahlyn Galeon.

The said affair was attended by Dr. Elma Donaal, the school principal, Dr. Jacqueline Lampac, the SSP coordinator, and former and present teachers of the batch that included Mr. Sosimo Leal, Mr. Jonathan dela Cruz, Mr. Niño Martinez, Mr. Estelito Mendoza, Mr. Warren Ambat, Mrs. Loida Sab-it, Mrs. Jayrerose Guevara, Ms. Noemilyn Madeo, Mrs. Jocelyn Tabios, Mrs. Blesilda Espinueva, and Mrs. Vilma Ambat.

The three-in-one program was supervised by the SSP-PTA led by their president Mr. Martin Castro.
